In the last five years, the concept of social media influencers has become widely publicized. The negative aspect of this topic is their quest for a celebrity-like status in non-professional and specialized ways, particularly in bodybuilding. Many young people have developed an interest in their body shapes at the expense of their physical health as a consequence of their unpleasant methods to obtain quick results. For some, it has become their desire to draw attention upon their beautiful bodies on the Internet in order to gain followers.
On the other hand, some successful bodybuilding experiences reflect a positive, balanced model that can be emulated as a great example for others to follow. Among those positive models is Karim Nabli, and how his development over the years reaches his goal without any urgency. Due to the pressures in this field, his main goal is to remain a positive influence in society.
Karim Nabli is our 31-year-old guest, who relocated from Tunisia to Finland at the young age of 18. He is engaged with two daughters, and enjoys riding motorcycles.
We will reflect on his actions, and the difficulties he encountered while maintaining his actual and professional initiation in the fields of training and entrepreneurship. All in all, his story will be an empowering element for young people, as our shared conversation reflects a positive image of localization in society through his expertise.
Attentiveness and clear vision
When I moved to Finland at the age of 18, I had the chance to start over in this country. My main focus was on becoming fluent in the Finnish language, as it was an important part of integrating into Finnish society; gaining fluency also allowed me to continue my education in the area of nutrition and fitness.
When I was younger , I had no intention of moving to Finland and working in unfamiliar jobs far from my domain of expertise. Speaking of which, I have gained more than a year of experience in construction, more than three years in the field of logistics, and more than two years as a driver. While hard work and self-sufficiency show a person’s optimism, I’ve never missed a chance to develop myself academically and personally because I always remembered my true objective.
I’d like to point out that some skilled immigrants are uncomfortable working in new fields , thinking that it is inappropriate for their educational level. As a consequence, they will only remain at home and rely on state unemployment benefits. This could negatively portray migrants as irresponsible people without any significance , which is untrue…but unfortunately, there are too many. After finishing my studies at the Fitness Academy EUROPE and becoming an expert in the fields of nutrition and physical development, as well as becoming a professional trainer , my dream of working in the fitness industry was becoming a reality.
Despite the challenges, my way of life and professional actions
After college, I didn’t feel the need to spend all of my time on social media showing myself as a newbie with an excellent physique . I believed that social media never accurately reflected the true nature of a training expert. Prior to selling myself, my main goal was to have a clear understanding of what I didn’t want to be in this area. .
As a result, I created a lifestyle that exclusively prioritized the physical, psychological, and nutritional aspects for fitness and bodybuilding.
Subsequently , I began competing in bodybuilding contests, the most well-known of which was the IFBB 2018 In 2019, I was among the top ten in Fitness & Body Building, and ranked seventh place at the Finnish level . I competed in the NPC competition, which has two groups. In the beginners’ group, I placed first; in the open class group, I finished in fourth place.
Afterward, an accident in Finland caused me to stop engaging in new activities and tasks. Despite my choice to quit competing, I began to consider becoming a professional trainer with the goal of making people well, both physically and emotionally . At this point, I can say that my career in my desired field has already begun.
My greatest Influence
I’ve recently discovered how important my family is; in particular, my fiancé and girls have helped me become more solid and successful in this country. This is especially true because she is Finnish, and has helped me understand even the slightest elements of the Finnish culture. And luckily, I’ve never felt homesick. In my early days , FitFarm Prolevel and all of its employees contributed to the growth of my profile as a fitness trainer with their positive support.
New entrepreneur
I cannot deny that professional development in Finland is difficult. Additionally, very few businesses provide both personal physical training and nutrition services, as is the case in my field. Because of this, I have taken the initiative to establish a specific project in order to effectively implement both services. I also will share my work expertise and support those who may want to work in this field in the future, particularly immigrants.
I consider myself the first Arab in Finland to establish a nutrition and fitness company. Not only is it difficult to break into this field, but it’s also almost entirely limited to the local community. However, I see a level that competes with others in my profession in Finland; I believe that by providing high-quality services, I will be successful in surpassing this level.
Since my company/brand LevelUp4Trainers has been running for a year , I can see that there is a high demand for the services we provide, which promote motivation and consistency. By opening a second branch in my homeland , I will be able to establish a cultural and business link between Tunisia and Finland to help young people maintain a healthy diet and an active lifestyle.Individuals must persevere in their attempts to join the Finnish labor market. In order to foster more opportunities, a person must broaden the horizons of his or her career.
